We only stayed one night, but could have stayed a few more. We were pleasantly surprised by the CBD Motor Inn, as we had absolutely no expectations. The room was big and modern, bathroom was good as well. Both of us had the best sleep here, slept almost 10 hours without interruptions! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and there was a super cute dog!

Everything about this modest unpretentious hotel was perfect for our nights stay. Steph and the team went above and beyond to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. A quaint country pub along the Coffs hinterland the gold dog offers a great place to rest between drives to the natural wonders that abound the area. The good old country hospitality oozes from brick, and the locals are all welcoming which only adds to the charm. Would highly recommend the Golden Dog to anyone looking for a home away from home.

    Very clean, great sized apartment. Easy access to the bay. Beds were comfortable. Facilities were great! We played squash, tennis, half court tennis, mini golf, swam in the pool and spa and even played a couple of games of billiards in the old bar area. There a playground and sand pit the kids. Grounds were well looked after and staff friendly.

    We had a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a laundry (washing machine, dryer, large kitchen with everything, lovely dinning room, lounge, tv in lounge and bedroom, big balcony with table and chairs. It was light and bright, we enjoyed our stay there immensely.

    We arrived at night in drkness so it was difficult to get a fix on location and most things were closed as it was winter. However, it was a lovely harbour and area during the daylight to walk and grab a coffee.

    I enjoyed my trip to Woolgoolga and found it very relaxing and enjoyed biking around the town and headlands . We found the sunset caravan park in a great location close to beach and shops and the Digger club.

    Beautiful town centre, on a very accessible and pretty beach. Fabulous ammenities and great restaurants. We had an outstanding 3 course meal with excellent service at Taste Restaurant . Loved our stay and look forward to returning.

    Emerald beach is in many ways the pick of the locations...

    Emerald beach is in many ways the pick of the locations north of Coff’s, up to Woolgoolga. The beach and headland walks are really good, the local restaurants are low key but excellent, overall it is quiet, calm, but first rate. You can easily take a ten minute drive, to other sites, shopping centres, or eating places. If you want quiet quality, impossible to beat. One thing that gets little attention is the coastal track. If you like walking, bird watching, whale watching, beach walking, etc, then the coastal track is well signposted, and easy to follow both south and north of Emerald beach. Low key, but fun.

    Urunga is a great location.

    Urunga is a great location. The pub and the golf club are very handy places to dine-the golf club has an amazing view out over the two rivers -the Bellinger and Kalang rivers. The spectacular boardwalk is a real asset.

    A lovely self contained studio, easily accessed from the highway. Great stop if travelling to or from Brisbane. V well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast provisions included, pet friendly, great option for either a short overnight visit or ideal for a longer stay. Access to a fenced garden space making it great for those travelling with pets

    Mylestron itself is a quiet place with just a general store with café and the Sports Club for drinks and meals. Internet access across the area is patchy. There is a very good park with playground and in the right conditions there is the river pool for swimming. The whole area is fairly flat and a good area for bikes. We stayed At Reflections Holiday Park which is a well laid out holiday park with van sites, cabins and beach tents. The beach tents are large and fit a family with own ensuite bathroom, lounge seating and microwave and cooktop facilities with good kitchenware supplied plus basic tea, coffee, milk, toiletries. The Park has direct access to the beach which has a patrolled area during the season.

    Very clean, modern and spacious. Privacy was good though would have appreciated a friendly welcome by hosts. We had our dogs with us and felt we must have been breaking the rules by bringing them due to the stern looks we received from a distance along with the question..."you have dogs?" We just didn't know if they were welcome. Guidelines (if there are any) for pets could be stated on advertising, that would have made us more relaxed. Otherwise I highly recommend the standard of this retreat for a great country get away.
