Lovely decorated hotel and rooms which have fabulous panoramic view to the mountains, there are sauna and we were served with a really great breakfast. We would definitely come back.

Arrived early and check-in was done without any delay. Private parking was easily available outside. Selected the option of Half-board. Room was big enough with all the amenities. The balcony had a beautiful Panoramic view of the mountains. A complimentary water bottle was provided in the room. Midday snacks were provided from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. In the evening, a dinner was provided at the hotel which was included in the Half-board. Overall a very nice family-run hotel with an excellent service.

This is our second time at Post Hotel. We had a lot of fun this time too. We loved everything, the lovely and wonderful location, the hotel staff who were helpful, efficient and cordial throughout the hotel, the spacious suite, well equipped and very clean and the level of food in the hotel restaurant where the service is excellent, efficient and smiling. Just a great team. It should also be noted the pampering hotel spa, the pools and in general, was fantastic. We have no doubt that we will return to the lovely Post Hotel in Larmos.

Amazing stay for 1 night, comfortable room with all you need, pool and sauna together with gym is a great bonus with mountains view. Restaurant is very tasty, breakfast and dinner are very reach for variety of food and drinks. Lemonade and coffee reachable FOC and that’s make the stay for 10. Personnel is very friendly minded, open for help. Views are breathtaking. We will back for 2 times more (already booked 🫶)

    This is a really friendly hotel and the staff were cheerful and did everything they could to be helpful. The views are amazing and I liked the location at the top of the town. It is a traditional hotel that will suit those who appreciate a nice atmosphere but may not suit people looking for a loud nightlife. The food is tasty and the hotel were kind enough to keep a dinner for me when I arrived after the kitchen closed!

    The DE-ticket works between Ehrwald and Garmish, despite...

    The DE-ticket works between Ehrwald and Garmish, despite that Ehrwald is in Austria, so one can travel freely there. The Zugspitze, Sonnenspitze and other locations are reachable by train/bus/cable car from Ehrwald. The Seebensee is fantastic lake, one can get there by a bus+cable car and using and normal road or a bus and a rather difficult via ferrata. Also there is an indoor climbing (about 15m high) gym with 4 automatic belaying stations in Ehrwald, so one can climb even during bad weather conditions.

    From a skiing perspective, it's not the most exciting area.

    From a skiing perspective, it's not the most exciting area. Although it's really easy to reach (we drove in 7,5 hours from the middle of the Netherlands), the town is a bit lower and therefore snow conditions are not perfect in the valley. Mountain snow conditions were a lot better. I can imagine in Summer it's amazing to hike, for skiing it would not be my area of choice, although I can imagine with young kids it's lovely.

    The breakfast was incredible. Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy our breakfast. The pool and saunas were a highlight too. We loved our large room with lots of space for the 4 of us. Lots of great options for dinner nearby as well.

    Ehrwal is a nice village at the foot of Zugspitze.

    Ehrwal is a nice village at the foot of Zugspitze. There are a few hotels and restaurants as well as winter sport facilities. We were there in September and the meadows were green and the views nice after disipation of the morning fog.

    Service beyond all expectations.

    Service beyond all expectations. Passing through and stopped in Lermoos to charge the electric car and spend the night. The Silence-Sporthotel Zugspitze was chosen at random. But... Fantastic service; on arrival we were welcomed, shown to a large and nice room, presented menu and informed that our dog was welcome in the restaurant. Lovely food and excellent service; buffet starter, good soup and perfectly cooked lamb. Exceptional service from the waiters. Amazing.     Biberwier is part of the Zugspitze area, just after the border with Germany. You have to pass part of the Fernpass and that is sensitive to traffic jams but in general, easy to access. Biberwier is a small village but in the neighbourhood, there a sufficient place for dinner and drinks.

    The picturesque surroundings and the numerous opportunities for hiking and skiing are absolutely fantastic. The ambiance is inviting, and the local community is friendly, adding to the overall appeal of the resort.

    Lovely village in Austria.

    Lovely village in Austria. Lots of walking options, from easy to strenous, with stunning scenery of lakes and mountains. Cable cars giving easy access to the mountains. A Guest Card, given to tourists staying in local properties, allows use of regular local buses, which link the Cable Car stations. Also, a Z Card can be purchased to allow daily use of cable cars, including one trip to the Zugspitze. Some lovely restaurants in the village, and 2 supermarkets. Overall, a great holiday location.
