The property is on the outskirts of Wenns, which is a small village not far up the Pitztal. There is a supermarket about 20 minutes' walk from the property, so maybe 1.5km, through the village. It is right next to a bus stop, bearing its name, so handy for stopping off on the way back from the day's activities. Other than that our focus was on the mountains and numerous hiking trails, so didn't really explore Wenns, or sample it restaurants, as we tended to eat at one of the mountain refuges.Guest review byGaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We had lovely stay in Sankt Leonhard.
We had lovely stay in Sankt Leonhard. We did a big hike on Saturday and on Sunday we took the cable car up to the lake. The views both days were incredible, it's a beautiful area. I especially loved the cows, horses, and donkeys at the top of the first hike we did (unsure of the route name but it starts near to alpenhof hotel and goes to three alm huts) It's very difficult to get lost as there is one road going through the valley, but it also has busses, unfortunately they only go until 8pm but we were lucky to stay in a lovely hotel with a nice restaurant and bar.Guest review bySarahGermany
