I have to agree with all the other positive reviews the Hotel Lindi received, it's possibly the best value for money I've ever experienced. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and well kept, with a stylish charm. The breakfast is fabulous, I stayed five days and never managedto finish all that was put in front of me, it set me up for the day, only getting peckish in the evening. But best of all is the owner and his staff, they all went out of their way to make my stay a pleasent and fun one and it was all so very genuine... can't recommend highly enough 😁

The room was superb with huge terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location - literally on the beach. There are great dinner places around, lively and safe area, within a walking distance from the city centre. The staff was very welcoming and helpful; rooms clean and well maintained. Loved pool area with lovely greenery and beach bar. The service might be slightly different from western European countries but it only adds up to the relaxed vibe of Sarandë.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Golden Oak in Ksamil, Albania. The hotel is just a short walk from Ksamil Beach.The location is perfect—quiet enough to enjoy some peace, but close to restaurants and shops. The best hotel in Ksamil! 🙌 Excellent Service from the owner and staff from reception, kitchen, restaurant and Housekeeping they are all nice and friendly they will provide all what you needed with personal touch and service. The owner himself always ask if everything is fine and if we needed something. As we celebrate our anniversary they gave us wine and personal note they have exceptional service like a 5 star hotel.Its sad that we dont want to go home after we checkin in Sondor. The people are so accomodating. They have Modern Facilities. A newly opened hotel that has a big room with nice terrace and modern pool. The breakfast is also awesome and always fresh and wide variety of foods! the location is not far from beach and center. i wil really recommend Sondor Hotel for all visiting Ksamil and we find our second home in Ksamil when we go back next time. Surely will come back to Sondor Hotel! 🫶 More Power!

    + top class staff (everyone from receptionists and waiters, to shuttle drivers and cleaners!) We would especially like to highlight Gerty and his colleagues who are doing an absolute amazing job - being professional, friendly and cheerful at all times. The hotel wouldn't be the same without you! They even upgraded our room for free when we expressed our concerns over the elevator noises. Whilst you can hear the elevator at times, it's nothing horrendous. Cleaners are exceptionally thorough, quick and skilful. + exceptional breakfast with great selection of continental as well as traditional food. quality food and drinks, no cheap diluted substitutes. + excellent location - 15 minute walk to the beach, but there's a convenient beach shuttle running every few minutes. + beautiful and well maintained hotel gardens where you can chill in the shade + great pebble/sandy beach with crystal clean water - you'll get your own Elysium sunbed and umbrella at no extra cost + beautiful rooms with AC and a safe, and breath taking views Even though 5 stars, the hotel gives a classy and modest impression (unlike many extravagant 5 star hotels that we've seen around the country and nearby). This hotel would be our top choice when visiting Albania once again.

    The hotel has some of the most gorgeous sea view I have ever seen. The sunset over the islands, golden hues and the glistening waters. The room was large and sound proof as we did not hear any noise from the hotel bar just beside it. The staff were nice and polite, there is no beach access but a few minutes drive is a stretch of lovely beaches. The bed was comfortable, great satellite tv, plenty of English channels and Netflix free. Daily room service and bottle of waters as the weather can be very hot in the summer. The bar has a picturesque view, sunset drinks and a party vibe. Amazing hotel for its price and we highly recommend.

    We liked everything about this hotel since the check in and now.The room is spacious and the bed is very comfy. I did not use the pool,but the two pools were very clean and big.Everything was very near like 2 minutes walk. We even ate dinner at the restaurant on the first floor which was perfect and delicious.The staff is very kind and helpful,they gave us enough information for everything we asked about.Unfortunately we couldn’t stay more days here but for sure we will be back.

Dinner menu a bit on fine dining side. more locale food just 100m walking. clean rooms , fantastic spa available and even underground parking. excellent breakfast. Himare city just 10 min away and 5 min to Himare castle (stunning views)

    I would really like to leave a positive review for this hotel, as the rooms were clean, comfortable, and cleaned regularly. The owner was responsive and always helped with every question. The sea is a few minutes' walk away, and there are both private and public beaches nearby. The breakfast was very tasty and varied, everyone can find something for themselves. We sincerely recommend this place for a comfortable family vacation

    Certainly not the next Rivera!

    Certainly not the next Rivera! Really ugly in terms of the newer buildings. Not much to do there at all except for going to the beach. Every shop had fake brands in them and that’s it! Lacked any cultural feel. No customer service. In general people were very very rude and not pleasant to deal with. Streets were really dirty.

    Vlorë was great, quiet and chilled through the day and really comes alive at night. The Lungomare ‘strip’ was extremely long and caters for everyone. We went to the Vlora ‘old town’. It’s either been renovated recently or built for tourists but it looks extremely new - it consists of about 2 streets and a little square but is very nice with a good vibe and a few good bars and restaurants. Worth a visit

    The people are amazing.

    The people are amazing. They are all friendly and acomodating, and almost everyone speaks great english. The food is delicious! We went to several restaurants and all the food is great. Butrint national park is a must see. Although I highly recommend going there early (before 10 AM) to get a parking spot. Otherwise you will park 1 km-2km away and walk in the sun. The infrastructure is horrible. There are too many hotels and the roads are narrow and there are no or very little sidewalks. It is dangerous to walk around with small children because in august it was filled with cars that were driving too fast on those roads. Driving inside Ksamil and between Ksamil and Saranda is a nightmare.

    Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

    Drymades beach town is only worth visiting for the beach - which is amazing. Smallpeeble beach with clear clean water. Noting to see og do in the besch area. Only restaurants, minimarkets and beachbars. No shops or small streets. The restaurants are in general overpriced compared to other areas in Albania and the food and service does not follow the high prices. Go here for the beach for max 3 days

The only problem I had was that I found some very nice beaches on the peninsula next to Orikumi on Google maps, but actualy there is a military zone and driving to the peninsula is prohibited, the only way to get there is by a boat. However, on Google maps there is a normal road. We found many differences between Google maps and the real situation in Albania. So be careful what you expect. The beaches are mostly private and sunbeds and umbrellas are paid.

    The owners seemed to make the effort to provide with help and assistance, despite the lack of quality in the aspects below. For the price you pay in high season which was 45 EUR per night, of course you don't expect luxury, but some basics should be in place: - 1st of all, the photos used in Booking.com were all from the 2nd building they manage, and don't correspond with the room booked at least on 50%. - the power plugs were a hazard to be aware(when you're travelling with a toddler). - the electric stove provided was almost at half meter height, a constant danger for toddlers. - the air con could be put on only by plugging in the plug and it was configured to the coldest temperature, very annoying to deal with it during the night. - hygiene could've improved: closet was dirty on the top, full of dust, the bathroom super-small. - when I asked for a sponge and dishwashing lotion, the owner told me that I was the 1st ever to ask for that. What? You put a kitchen.

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore" (promenade) perfect for evening walks along the beach. The village stretches along the coast, offering breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, though you'll need to walk a few steps to reach the shore. We had no trouble finding a sunbed without reservations, and the food was delicious and fairly priced—highly recommend restaurants Poseidon and Te Stefi! The only downside was the lack of trash bins along the promenade, which left the walking path a bit messy. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful spot with great food and friendly vibes.

    Lukovë is a small, cozy village 20km from Sarandë.

    Lukovë is a small, cozy village 20km from Sarandë. It is surrounded by hills with olive trees and other typical Mediterranean Plata that give off a specific and pleasant aroma. It is the perfect place for alternative tourism away from the overcrowded Ksamil and Sarandë. You can find here restaurants that serve local food, friendly and welcoming service and nice public beaches.

    If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Amare in Palasë exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel felt fresh and welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. But what truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of service, comfort, and charm. Hotel Amare has become one of my absolute favorite places in Palasë. A hidden gem I can’t wait to return to. Highly, highly recommended!
