My stay in Kloest was amazing from start to finish. I did not feel I was in a hotel but felt like home. All staff smiling helpful and caring. The owner cares a lot about her customers and Anxhela the front office is an amazing and enthusiastic young lady. The hotel is in a very good location walking distance to main town and yet in a quiet area. Hotel very clean and good breakfast too. Definitely recommend this welcoming place which I will return to . Thanks for your great hospitality

Everything about this property was amazing! The lovely lady at the reception was so welcoming and nice, felt like home immediately. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, neat and comfortable. Hot water was immediate and very powerful, location is perfect. Will definitely come back and definitely recommending to others!

Really nice hotel to stay, super clean, in an excellent location. The hotel is nicely decorated, , I was impressed with the beautiful wooden curved furniture and lampshades, it was a feeling like staying in a beautiful castle. The staff was very helpful. Highly recommend.

It's a brand new hotel, the staff was lovely, (we could communicate enough with English with them), the breakfast selection was simple but really tasty. The room basically didn't had any drawers but I didn't mind it. Great shower, facilites were new and functioning. A modern look in the middle of town, I was really surprised. Good air conditioning too, could keep the room cold in August weather just fine. It has an design just like my taste so i really felt at home. TV was an android tv, I could watch Netflix, YouTube, everything I wanted, they really thought out their rooms to the modern traveler. They gave some water bottles to drink every day, that was also cool and considerate of the owner. The bathroom mirror lights were also a really nice touch. The location was central, near some of the historic sites from Dürres. Could walk fine from the port to there with luggage with wheels. They also provided breakfast on our day of arrival for a small fee and kept the luggage before check-in so we could explore the city.

    Nice hotel where we rented a junior suite (2 adults and 1 teenager). It seems that much of the original charm of the hotel has been preserved. The suite was nice with good closet space, but the bathroom was a bit small, with the shower inside the bathtub. The teenager’s bed was a sofa, which is probably better suited for small children than for a teenager. The pillows were very hard. Small balcony with space for only 2 people. No place to hang wet swimwear. The spa area was very nice, with a lovely indoor heated pool. The gym was small but adequately equipped. Breakfast was okay. Lacking a bit to meet international standards. Large outdoor pool area. The area around the pool needs an upgrade, and the wooden sunbeds need sanding and painting. The bar area also needs a proper upgrade. Very good food in the restaurant, both for lunch and dinner. Good service from the staff. Private beach for the hotel. The sunbeds were a bit worn, but there was good spacing between them. Excellent service from the beach manager, Dino, who was very accommodating. Before staying at the hotel, we rented sunbeds here for almost 14 days, and he was just as service-minded then, even though we weren’t hotel guests. Beach service was excellent. Quick and friendly waiters. There were guards on the beach to ensure that vendors and others didn’t disturb the guests. New rooftop bar with good drinks and a beautiful view. Great service. All in all, a nice hotel with good facilities. Some areas need upgrades, but that doesn’t significantly affect the overall impression. Can definitely recommend the hotel.

    The aparthotel Espana is located directly on the beach with its own sunbeds and umbrellas for guests. Bedroom is big enough with a comfy mattresses. We traveled with only small luggage, so the washing machine in the apartment was a great advantage. The balcony was large with an outdoor seating, nice view of the sea and a clothes dryer (4th floor). Lift was a big advantage especially for my 80 years old mum. Restaurant is on the ground floor and we had HB. You can choose for breakfast fried eggs, omelettes, sausages, cheese, butter, vegetable, fruit, jam, müsli, yogurt, croissant, usually 1 more type of cake and coffee + non alcoholic drinks from machine. For prepaid dinner you have 4 courses, each has a few options and includes also glass of wine, draught beer or Fanta, Cola or Sprite. Supermarket 2 minutes on foot. But most of all we love the hospitality, willingness and help from Toni and his staff. Always ready to help and give an advise. You can also order transfer from/to Tirana airport. I cannot say this is the best accommodation in the world but for the price we paid it was worth it and we really like our stay here. I do not expect 5***** quality if I do not pay for it :) And they have one of the best MOJITO´s I have ever had!

    The sea view is REAL sea view. Not side sea view or partial see view. Therefore you will see from your bed over the bay of Durres. It is absolutely great view from your room if you have a room on the sea side. The hotel is DIRECTLY on the beach. Many good restaurants and bars are nearby very close. Therefore best location. The hotel has a stylish interior design and has a private swimming pool. The management and staff are very helpful and friendly. I can highly recomend the place and want to come back!

    Hotel is very clean and comfortable. You can have your room cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Bernard who helped us with anything we needed. We had no problems in communicating in english. The view from private balcony is amazing. The breakfast is tasty and fresh every day with a lot of options. You can take a fresh towel to the beach everyday where there is a free sunbed with sunshade, at the end of the day you return the towel to be cleaned.

    The hotel is brilliant! Super friendly staff right from reception to housekeeping and even the restaurant. Breakfast is good. Their in house restaurant is amazing. Good selection of drinks and food is mainly Italian and sea food. We sat on sun loungers and by the pool. The staff would check in on us, bring us our food and drinks. Very good service

    My room at the Aragosta hotel overlooked the sea and had a good size balcony. The room was extremely large and comfortable with a beautiful big bathroom. The decor was chic and modern . I was very comfortable. The Aragosta restaurant is very good and served excellent seafood . The beach was easy to access and the water was beautiful!

    Durres is a city of contrast from the Roman ampitheater to the beach, pool and shopping. Tasting the fresh fish from one of the seafront restaurants is a must but make sure you also fill up on byrek and sufflaqe! Pelikan has lots of amazing cakes for sweet treats, Tropikal resort has an amazing pool you can use for the day (1000leke) and the market is a hidden gem for bargains. The bus from the beach at Plepa along to the city Center gets VERY busy but for 40leke saves the stress of driving and trying to park and everywhere is then just a short walk. We love Durres and will be back.

    Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal. One day is sufficient to see what there is to experience. I stayed an extra day because I had work to do online. Be warned, this is a mountain down so you will be doing a lot of up and downhill walking. Reconsider if you have mobility issues.

    This is perfect for its purpose!

    This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

    Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

    We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

    The people were all friendly, lots of bars and restaurants. Try to take plenty local currency, or Euros. Lots of places are cash only and the banks fees are up to 20%. The old town is lovely. The promenade is made for walking. Miles long.

    Lovely and clean place.

    Lovely and clean place. Though quite small, there's plenty to explore - picturesque Bazaar under the castle with loads of lovely souvenirs where everyone is sure to find something to their taste and budget. Pretty restaurants and places of accommodation. Small shops but well stocked with things you might need. Shop owners and people working in restaurants speak decent English and the menus are available in both Albanian and English. The grounds of Krujë Castle don't seem to be large but there's a lot to explore and admire. You can walk among the romantic ruins, relax and enjoy the vista. If you venture out in the countryside, you can walk in olive groves among grazing sheep, goats and cows and if you are lucky, you can meet a local riding a donkey. If you love hiking, there's Krujë mountain. The best thing about Krujë is undoubtedly its location with stunning views - and that was what we loved the most about the place!

    If you’re seeking nightlife or a highly developed tourist infrastructure, it’s better to stay closer to the city center or in Ksamil. Albania is not just a tourist destination; it is a living history of resilience. After decades of isolation, poverty, and deep wounds, its people are working with incredible strength to build a better future, brick by brick. Its beaches are a gift, its nature is wild and pure, but its most precious asset is its people: warm, humble, and courageous. Visiting Albania is not just about traveling; it is about witnessing a real transformation. Today I want to invite you to give this country, which is being reborn with dignity and hope, a chance.     We were not directly in the city but near the beach of San Pietro.Our place was beautiful , clean with a nice long beach. I would not recommend the city itself for accommodation due to dirty beach with a not very nice smell during our visit. I definitely recommend going further south or outside the city. There are still beautiful hotels and the city itself is very nice

    I loved our stay here.

    I loved our stay here. The beach is great - clean, not too busy as locals go there and only 1 or 2 hotels on the coast, so not overloaded by tourists like some European destinations. Beautiful beach, warm sea. Just perfect.
