The highlight, though, was the host, who was incredibly sweet and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure I felt at home. Their warm hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable.

This house can be a case study of how to properly and beautifully renovate a sturdy, traditional stone house. Living in such a dwelling is a privilege and a blessing. The upper floor, with its four doors and terasses, one in each cardinal direction, ensured that you can always choose whether to sit in the shade or in the sun. In addition, it had all the amenities that one can possibly think of. It is located in the middle of the village but only ~5 minutes walk from the port or the beach. The outdoors shower in the little garden is the perfect way to cool off after a day at the beach. We liked the little quiet village and the church in its middle, that was open late in the evening for anybody.
