The fireplace in the Roof proved very useful at night and created a nice atmosphere to sit outside. Our room had a comfortable bed and good quality linens that allowed us very good sleep. The hosts are very friendly and provide useful tips to exploring the area, eating and getting around.

Tunis is a lovely village on its own, perfect to enjoy the Egyptian countryside without giving up 'western' comforts. With the help of a driver, at a very reasonable price, one can also explore the wonderful Fayoum area which is really rich with naturalistic and archeological sites that are worth visiting
