Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

The Hotel Waldegg - Adults only enjoys an elevated south-facing position in Engelberg. It offers panoramic mountain views, a spa area with an indoor pool, and a restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available, and a free ski bus stops right in front of the hotel in winter. The heart of this property is the staff. I have never met such pleasant people before. They truly love what they do. We ate on premises at both of the restaurants. Both are equally good. Food is Michelin worthy!!! Hats off to the chef. You never need to go anywhere else for your meals!!! The rooms are spotless. Super clean, cozy, and breathtaking views from room balcony. Breakfast was one of the best we have had across our tour through out Europe. Our server was lovely! Isolde and other front desk staff were super helpful. Very friendly. Restaurant staff was incredibly attentive. Best dining experience! We will return for sure! Housekeeping was spot on. Very friendly lady that catered to our requests with a smile. We can’t wait to return to this place. It’s become our new favorite.

Our rustic-style 3-star hotel with 12 rooms enjoys an idyllic, sunny and quiet location on the edge of the village, offering superb panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Make use of our secure and covered parking and keep in contact with friends and family via the free internet access. The centre of the village is reachable within a pleasant 15-minute walk and in winter the ski bus brings you to the train and cable car station for free. The bus station is reachable on foot in 4 minutes. In winter, please take bus stop Heimat, in summer please take bus stop Brunni. Those bus stops also are the correct ones coming from the train station. Beautiful location Host was very nice and professional. Clean room with a great view of the mountains.
