An amazing stay with super hosts - Fernando went out of his way to make us feel welcome including organising a snorkeling trip for us and helping us with our transfer back to Cartegena. Really comfortable and clean cabins and breakfast made by Erica was delicious. The location is great being so close to the beach and restaurants.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel. It is essentially like a beach resort but for hostel prices. The pool is lush, and it is walking distance to incredible beaches with white sand and crystal blue water. The excursions they offer are also great- we did a sunset mangrove kayaking tour which was a highlight of our travels so far.

We had an unforgettable night at this hotel. It’s a simple standard, but the view and the warmth of the hosts are priceless. There are only a few rooms, and everything feels very private and personal. A great contrast to the tourist crowds in Cartagena and other cities. The sunset was the most beautiful we’ve ever seen in Colombia. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for an authentic experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tijereto during my vacation in Colombia, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Let's start with the comfort—the hotel exceeded all expectations! The furnishings were tastefully chosen, but simple, creating a soothing ambiance that instantly relaxed me. The bed was a great. Now, let's talk about the beach. The hotel's location offered breathtaking views of pristine, powdery white sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters that stretched as far as the eye could see. It was like stepping into a postcard! . The beach loungers and umbrellas provided by the hotel ensured I could relax in style while savoring the gentle sea breeze.

Just a warning that this is a truly Eco Hotel. You will get two big buckets of water a day, one for showering and one for toilet flush and facilities are simple. If you don't have a problem with that, you will have an amazing time :) We also had a bungalow so can't comment on other rooms. -the hosts are really great. Friendly and helpful. -both the popular beach and the private beach ate really close. We loved the private beach. -the bungalow is gorgeous, really gives off that relaxing beach atmosphere with hammocks for chilling and napping. -it is very clean and it is cleaned everyday -we had no issues with any noise, slept like babies -two friendly dogs always up for cuddles (but also won't bother you if you don't like dogs) -just a great atmosphere.

    The whole staff was extremely friendly, they made us feel comfortable in the place since we arrived. Our room was nice, it was cleaned and our bed made daily, had AC which worked perfectly. We took their transportation and all good. Also did two activities with them and my girlfriend and I enjoyed them very much! The food was delicious. The bar guys and Diana the waitress were the BEST! The dogs and the cat as well!!!

    The grounds of the property were very nice. There is a cat and a few dogs that live on the property, very cute and friendly. The campus style feel with several houses and a pool with a slide in the middle is very cute.

    The vibe, the staff, the location and lunches & dinners were amazing. The dogs around were awesome The staff really are the diamonds here - they take time to know your name and remember you.

    Our stay at Isla Tijereto was perfect! The location was so beautiful. The staff were so friendly and very attentive, the food was so tasty. We hired the kayak they had and kayaked around the island which was so nice with the waters being so clear. It rained one day we were there but this did not effect our experience. They have pet cats there and a pet dog and they were all so cute!!
