Finding a good and affordable place on Statia can be a challenge, but I was very happy to have 'discovered' this gem. The location is just perfect. The appartement is spacious with everything you can expect. The best restaurant on the island is right next to it, actually it part of the same building. It is true that during restaurant hours you will have guests dining next to the place. It was not a disturbance for me at all, and the good part, every morning you have the place for yourself. Your private terrace next to the ocean. The neighbors at Gin House serve a breakfast if you don't want to make it yourself. I loved the Nespresso coffee with cups being replenished every day, same goes for new bottles of waters every day. Great service that makes a difference. The place was clean and comfortable.

We highly recommend Quill Gardens Hotel as the cleanest, calmest and most welcoming on the island. The view from the balcony is mesmerizing. The hotel provides a very tasty and rich breakfast, more than it is possible to eat in the morning. We also had the pleasure of attending dinner. The pasta, tuna steak and homemade bread were simply the most delicious. On our next visit, we will definitely stop there only.

The beach is just a short walk from the property and provides a serene, peaceful environment perfect for swimming and relaxing by the water. The water was ideal for a refreshing swim. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy nature in a quiet, beautiful setting. Whether you want to float in the calm waves or simply lay back and enjoy the view, this beach is an absolute paradise.

Fun animals like chicken and lizard. It is really as Paradise as they advert. I was more than happy there. The staff is also cool and easy to get along with. Even more big thx to Cecilia, who helped during the breakfast and cleaned up the place in the morning! All very nice and they are well connected to correct local taxis too! I could meet and talk also with kind locals of Eustace and Saba in the shared cab.
