Great place ! Pleasant and clean, as if you're going to a 5* hotel. The views are great and you can even see plenty of stars at night. Strategic location not too far from Wanaka. Good value for money to be honest. Most importantly, the hosts are really friendly and are willing to provide suggestions on Wanaka-related or nearby activities ! Not sure if this is relevant but there's a BIDET. Rare sight in NZ and it's honestly a great addition to the stay !!

Was all great all we needed. However mr mouse made a visit overnight chewing food and seen him climbing curtain above rubbish bin jumped off there and darted underneath fridge. No drama tho we enjoyed

The artist’s house is a very inspirational place to be. Never have we felt so honoured by a host. We stayed together with two other couples, given that this is a large house we felt a lot of privacy. Sharing stories around the fireplace gave even more depth to our stay. A sauna was recently added to the well furnished house. Breakfast could be arranged, a real treat. Nothing was too much for our host. Her presence created a positive atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable and welcome.

Fantastic stay. The hostel is a bit remote but we were greeted very warmly by the owner (and 2 friendly dogs) and shown around a very clean and well set up hostel. The kitchen is one of the best I’ve seen: plenty of space and good quality equipment. The wifi worked and each bed in the dorm had plug sockets next to it. Always a big plus. The fact it’s rural made it a nice place to sit back and enjoy the stars at night
