What a great stay we had by Reza and his staff. You feel very welcome as soon as you enter this place. Reza was also our guide on a jungle trekking we have made and that trekking was excellent and with full respect for nature and animals. We have seen an orang-oetan, monkeys, and elephants. After a great lunch at the river and some swimming in a hot spring we tubed back home.

The bungalows are lovely and secluded staring out into the jungle. The staff are AMAZING. I got sick during our jungle trek and had to get out through a fairly dodgy route and the staff all came together to help me get out. The hotel booked me a different hotel as the jungle guide was booked for the night I was on a trek and brought me tea and medication to help. The next day, they transferred me back to the hotel. All of the employees are absolutely lovely and make the stay well worth it!

It's in an excellent location right on the river in the quiet spot of bukit lawang but still only a short walk from where all the action is and if you don't wish to walk there is a taxi service very close by which will get you into town. The rooms are very nice and the food choices are good and there is soft drinks and beers available for those that wish. Also the garden area is very beautiful with a lot of wildflowers and butterflies flying around so it's a pleasure even just to sit on your balcony and enjoy the view

Came to jhony’s for two days trekking tour through the jungle and was an incredible experience, from the start seeing orangutans and many monkeys around , the five start hotel in the jungle for the first night was special and the next day rafting to coming back to our a accomodation in Bukit lawang was the perfect close . It is such a lovely place , so close to the river , with a nice restaurant in the front , and close to everything. We spend perfect 3 days there , visiting both the orang utangs & the batcave (highly recommend !!!) Also the room was super clean , comfy bed , aircon worked . Nothing to complain ! Thanks again!

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.
