Everything looks new. The bed was so comfy I woke up thinking I was at home. My husband even liked the coffee in the room and he is particular! We had to drive a couple miles back into town for dinner which was amazing. Went to Rapid River Bar and Grill and being Friday night, they had an excellent fish fry, although their menu had lots of good selections. Drinks were $3.50 (wine/whiskey) which is unheard of. We will definitely stay there again if we travel that way.

We were offered a room in the main house, although we had apparently booked into the motel section, at no extra cost. The new room was beautiful, charmingly decorated, and it had a view over the lake. It was actually possible to get a healthy breakfast from the food on offer.
