Shuvatara Suites and Spa exceeds all expectations. First of all, they organized a transfer from the airport (included in the price) and an early check-in which was a blessing after 8 hours of flying and early morning arrival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works perfectly, great shower with hot water, nice and soft bedding, plenty of lighting scenarios. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and there are many options for eggs and beverages. The staff were super kind and helpful, always there to answer questions and guide the guests through hotel services. Unfortunately I could not enjoy the spa being very tired, but sauna & jacuzzi available free of charge are definitely a treat. The restaurant and rooms have a breathtaking views as well. The area around the hotel is well-maintained and pretty. I easily found a yoga studio, coworking space, coffee and food spots within 5 minutes walk. So if you are jet lagged like I am, you’ll easily be able to stay within a short radius and not get yourself too tired. I totally recommend to stay here!

The Skye Inn was the perfect introduction to Katmandu. Although I arrived at 1:00 AM, they had a driver waiting. The staff was consistently informative and welcome. The buffet breakfast had many delicious selections. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, with money a money exchange, restaurants and shops within steps. I plan to return to Nepal and the Skye Inn will be my choice once again.

Absolutely divine hotel amongst the dust and chaos of Kathmandu. We have stayed here twice and wouldn't consider anywhere else. Always clean, professional, safe, comfortable, and filling (breakfast buffet). We stayed here as a family and really appreciated Sachin's warm character at breakfast. He is the epitome of customer service and charm. They will store luggage for you while you trek, too! Heater in the room works a charm, beds are fluffy and clean, elevator if you're on a higher floor, beautiful rooftop terrace for meals, very clean rooms, and very hot water. Perfect!
