I cannot recommend La Reserve too highly. Helene, her staff, the place, the ambience, the room, the restaurant and the whole experience are absolutely superb. I have no criticisms whatsoever.

Ideal location - a few minutes walk (pedestrianised) from the centre of Albi. Great for shopping (which we did a lot of!), as not too far at all to carry shopping bags. Very clean and a wonderful conversion of an old town house - very atmospheric. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The twin beds on the second floor can actually be made into a large double (on request) which made our sleeping arrangements very comfortable indeed. We could have had use of the garage but - as we’d found a space in a free car park about a 10 minute walk away - we left the car there. Restaurants literally next door, although we didn’t eat at any of them, having selected a couple of other restaurants to try. The kitchen was well-equipped and - as the fabulous covered market (with a supermarket underneath) is less than a five-minute walk away - this made self-catering very easy indeed.

Elodie is a great host ,when we lost in street she found us and when we checkout he drive us to train station. The apartment is located in the heart of old town and has everything we needed, very close to the supermarket and lot of restaurants. Highly recommend

Beautiful location, impeccable gîte with wonderful attention to detail, and a hot tub! Very friendly greeting from the owner on arrival. It really was a tranquil stay which we all really enjoyed 😉

Perfect location, away from the main road, close to Monestiés, not far from Cordes-sur-Ciel, and a short drive to Carmaux for necessities. Albi, and a number "Plus Beaux Villages" are within 30-40 minutes drive, with Toulouse being barely an hour away! Plenty of wonderful vineyards are within easy reach, and we also visited a number of beautiful places in Aveyron within 30-40 minutes. The house is very comfortable, and super authentic...an old fortified farm! The private pool (each gîtes has their own) and gardens are wonderful. We had a few rainy days, but as the house is great, we really didn't mind hanging around...we felt at home there. The owners, Valérie et Hakim, are such great hosts...a very friendly, warm welcome, and more than happy to give recomendations for the region and very responsive whenever we had questions. The breakfast is also wonderful, so be sure to enjoy it when you stay there! I missed to take many photos of the property, but you can see the beautiful night sky above, and the pool...
