The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The property is very well kept. There were lots of toys and activities to enjoy. The vegetation on property was beautiful. The view from my room was beautiful. Such a relaxing environment. The common kitchen has all the cooking tools you'd need and is super clean. There are great books to exchange. Minimal bugs.

We loved everything about our stay at Lochmara Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.

Returning customers and the price for a nights rest was where it should be.$120. Had no choice the previous night in Paraparaumu where we paid $160 for an inferior room to Aldan Lodge. Aldan Lodge is close to everything you need in Picton we've always enjoyed our stays there. Our hosts were welcoming and obliging. Highly recommend

The room was really nice and had a separate lounge area to relax in when the weather wasn't great. They had a great selection of food and drinks options available. The lodge by far had the best food on the track. The staff were all really friendly.

We arrived on a rainy day, but we had so much to do in the lodge. There was a hot spa, a ping pong and a pool table, darts, piano and a tv room. Our family room was very cosy and tidy. We were spoiled with delicious freshly baked scones for breakfast and the lovely French girl made a tiramisu dessert. What a great experience, the owners were wonderful and created such a nice and friendly place to stay. Thank you!

Aldan Lodge is great! Five minutes walk from the town centre, restaurant, shops, the harbour. The lodge was very clean, comfortable, bed and pillows extremely comfortable and we wish we had stayed for more than one night! Hosts were very welcoming. We loved it!!
