Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place was outstanding, every corner was impeccably maintained, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment throughout my stay. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations. The room with direct access to the pool was a luxurious touch that made my stay truly unforgettable.

A bicycle rental service is available at the lodge, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Casa Austera is like living in The Blue Lagoon, I used to dream of it as a kid. It is the beach house of my dreams. I loved the open air hut and the personal fan made sure I didn't get hot. The showers were cool and refreshing after a long day surfing in the sun. The staff were the absolute nicest ever. I asked my daughter if she'd have rather stayed at the big million dollar property in the beach front and she said "no way, the vibe and staff at Casa Austera is the best in Guatemala"

La Aurora Airport is 123 km from the property. Gorgeous villas tucked away in a quiet part of town but still in central location. Very comfortable beds with fans in smaller rooms and aircon in deluxe suite. Clean and well maintained. Staff were fantastic and great with communication and helping out with any issues or questions I had. Would highly recommend this place.
