We loved the welcoming, laid-back feel of this historical place. Our group of four had a room with four beds and our own bathroom across the hallway. Everything was clean and well-managed. There were snacks available at all times and all you would need for a healthy breakfast. We enjoyed the camaraderie of others staying at the place, mostly cyclists, and the hosts are delightful as well as providing information on the area. They were happy to store our luggage as we headed away to Cumberland to cycle back to the hotel. We stayed there again after our bike trip along the GAP.

    Mt. Washington is very hilly and it provides wonderful views of the City. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Glad we decided to stop off in Pittsburgh on our way too Canton, Ohio.

    Should view from the top in both daytime and at night.

    Should view from the top in both daytime and at night. No need to park at the bottom parking lot if don't want to ride the incline. Drive to the top straight and park there. Walk across the street to the observation deck for free.

    Location: 2mins walk from the Monogahela cable car taking you to the bottom of Mount Washington, then 10-15mins walk to downtown. Near the flat also lots of bars, restaurants to choose from. Flat: Old school vibe, but clean, quiet and all basics you need. Nice patio at the back to get some fresh air.

    Everything was chosen carefully to make the place even nicer. The beds were really comfy and every part of the property was sparkling clean. Location of the property was absolutely awesome. Everything inuding Downtown, Mount Washington, Point state park was so close. And the host was super chill as well.
