It's a quiet, intimate place, ideal for relaxation. My room was exceptional, in design and comfort, up a flight of steps, with views of the garden and pools, and with privacy too. Just being there was a dream come true! The staff is exceptional, very thoughtful and well mannered. The small touches like the happy hour where they serve home infused gin and tonic ( Bawa’s favourite) by the Lunuganga is an experience in itself. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, organizing for us a river safari and a Tuk Tuk for our tour of Lunuganga and the Brief Garden. Harinda, the guide who offered the river safari, is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the mangrove, and its the flora and fauna. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari.
