We were also happy we chose to stay in Asakusa, rather than other areas of Tokyo. It was around 2km to walk to Asakusa station, however we enjoyed the exercise everyday. It had all the facilities we needed, including microwave and kitchen utensils. The bathroom was more than adequate, the toilet was fantastic (although this seems to be standard in Japan!). Our room was on a corner overlooking the river which was nice to wake up to. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. Staff were helpful at check-in. Rooms are small, especially the bathrooms, but very functional given that we really only used them for sleeping.
