We stayed at Artisan house of this hotel. The location of this hotel is really convenient to go to the bus stop 6 and 14, shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff are very nice and they provide fresh foods for breakfast every day. I want to stay at this hotel again.

We loved how cozy the pods were! The price was excellent for Reykjavik. The cafe/kitchen area provided everything we needed to keep and make light meals. Iceland is super expensive to eat out so we liked how we could buy groceries and save on food. We didn’t cook meals but we had yogurt, granola, fruit, noodle cups and sandwiches etc. The bathroom facilities were always kept clean. Staff were helpful and super friendly! Would stay here again for sure!

Everything opens on the later side.

Everything opens on the later side. So don’t rush getting up early to shop. You can enjoy getting up leisurely and even sleeping in a bit. Then find a good parking a walk around everywhere in town. We stay on this street so it was very convenient. Perfect actually!

A mix of the mundane and eclectic.

A mix of the mundane and eclectic. Certainly the main shopping tourist strip and worth it to walk its length and get a feel for urban Iceland before encountering the awesome natural landscapes of Iceland. Expensive for day to day commodities but that's standard throughout the country.
