The hostel is right next to the main hiking trails and next to the main site of Glendalough. The rooms were cosy and very comfortable with plenty of space for quietly relaxing and reading a book alone or getting together with others. Lisa was the perfect host. She was friendly and enthusiastic and went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The location of the house couldn't have been better. The location is perfect for visiting Glendalough park ; even though it;s on a (not overly busy ) highway , our room was quiet and peaceful - we had the windows open to the sound of a stream on the property , very nice ! Also the food was exceptional , Aunty Biddies Guinness stew was the best we've tasted in Ireland , and the service was quick and friendly . Will need a return trip I think !Guest review byJimCanada
