I particularly liked the location. The hostel is right next to the main hiking trails and next to the main site of Glendalough. The atmosphere was really nice too, both adapted to solo travelers, backpackers and hikers on one hand and to large families on the other hand.

Good location, about 300m from the Glendalough Hotel where you can get a meal/drinks if wanting to eat out, plenty of kitchen space in the hostel also. Great spot for walking in Glendalough, plenty of parking spaces, good sized room, and quiet on a Saturday night!

I took room for 2 people, beds were really good, also breakfast and of course you need to have a car but to arrive in Wiclow to see guinnes lake and ps I love you bridge is really near, with you wanna also hiking around several mountains in Glendalough you can go on foot from the hostel. There is also a hotel next to them where there is a pub/restaurant. you can also park your car totally free in front of the hostel

The house was absolutely fabulous in every. Perfect for a family get together. The rooms were cosy and very comfortable with plenty of space for quietly relaxing and reading a book alone or getting together with others. Lisa was the perfect host. She was friendly and enthusiastic and went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The location of the house couldn't have been better. A stones throw from the hotel bars and restaurants and a short stroll to Glendalough

What a lovely hotel ! The location is perfect for visiting Glendalough park ; even though it;s on a (not overly busy ) highway , our room was quiet and peaceful - we had the windows open to the sound of a stream on the property , very nice ! Also the food was exceptional , Aunty Biddies Guinness stew was the best we've tasted in Ireland , and the service was quick and friendly . Will need a return trip I think !
