Spinningfields

If you're a little more experienced with flippers on your feet and an air tank on your back, Ras Nasrani offers some fine diving. Though there's still a lot of underwater adventuring to be had in the shallower depths, a sixty metre drop just beyond them opens up a whole new world of exploration with overhangs and sea caves. It's also one of the best places around Sharm El Sheikh to spot the sea slug known as the Spanish dancer, which flaps through the water in an elegant underwater ballet.

    What a transformation.

What a transformation. Great to walk round with its new cafes everywhere but retaining and improving access to the forgotten river. You can even walk across new bridges to another up and coming city-Salford.

We were going to a show at the Opera House and ate at the Ivy Spinningfields so was a perfect location for both. Busy area but windows must be sound proofed as we didn't hear any noise. Comfortable bed and clean room. Staff on reception and in the bar area were excellent. Helpful, friendly and efficient. We arrived before official check in time but were able to check in as a room was ready. Have stayed before and will stay again.
