The historic Albert Dock was once the centre of Liverpool’s bustling trading port. Today its brick warehouses have been converted into museums – the Tate Liverpool, International Slavery Museum and Beatles Story can all be found here. Great place to visit , especially beetles museum .. Slavery museum is closed and also Tate gallery . Would advise people to walk further up street and visit port of Liverpool building and the white Star building , where you can get a drink on the roof top . This place has vastly changed since the eighties.
This place has vastly changed since the eighties. Huge investment has brought immense changes, opportunities and employment to the area. There are shops and restaurants here and also a Premier Inn. There is so much history to see, while you are at the Albert Docks. A lot of the original buildings are still standing and there is a habour, with beautiful sailing boats moored close by. On the 27th floor with a gorgeous view over the river across to Birkenhead. The living area was perfect for us. Just showed him the code on our confirmation key and were given the keys. The apartment is in a fantastic location near the city centre and Albert Docks.
