It is very central, close to Alexanderplatz and with multiple transport options to get around. The room was spotless and cleaned daily throughout our stay. The hotel has 475 rooms, with about 300 occupied by students and the rest available for anyone to book. As long as you are fine sharing the space with students, it’s an excellent choice in terms of value for money. Really easy to travel to most places directly from Alexanderplatz. Hackescher Markt up the road had some lovely restaurants and atmosphere, and was a great place to grab a coffee in the morning and watch the world go by. The room was clean and toiletries provided smelled lovely. Very comfy beds. Penthouse apartment was just as indicated in the photos and very clean. Shower pressure was great (although agree with another user that a walk-in shower would be better, especially for less agile guests!). It was a maximum of 10 minutes walk to the tram, so we were at Alexanderplatz within half an hour. Breakfast was rather simple, but it corresponded to the price category of the hotel.
