Our Amazing Room - On arrival the Hotel was full and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to The Coco Chanel Suite which was amazing, we were speechless as the verandah, room and view were the best we have ever stayed in on our travels around the world. We were so greatful it has been the highlight of our trip. "Thankyou Lausanne Palace". Our room we had originally booked also looked amazing!

what an amazing location . I have fallen in love at first sight with this hotel . I had booked 4 nights at a different hotel for my stay at Lausanne. I just came to the port to have a drink and when I saw this hotel I cancelled my other hotel and booked it right there on bookings.com.

    The hotel is strategically located in front of Lausanne railway station and very close to a subway station from where you can reach both the Léman Lake and the upper city centre in a few minutes. There are restaurants and other services in the area. The Musée Cantonal de Beaux-arts is only a hundred metres away (near the railway station).

    Hotel du Port is a small family run 3* hotel. Its location is excellent - overlooking the lake, the promenade and the mountains; the metro is 2 minutes walk and connects the hotel with Lausanne railway station and city centre in 7 minutes. The rooms are spacious, very clean; the hotel staff is friendly and very helpful.
