My partner and I recently enjoyed an exceptional stay at The Stanhope. Under the leadership of the charismatic and professional manager, Frederic, the entire staff ensured that we felt warmly welcomed throughout our visit. The breakfast offerings are of high-quality produce, while the rooms exuded a pleasant ambiance, complete with exceptionally comfortable beds. The hotel's facilities were exemplary adding to the overall experience. Our experience at The Stanhope surpassed all prior hotel stays, without any discernible shortcomings. Very much pleasantly surprised with this hotel, from the welcoming and very helpful staff to the good night's sleep and the lovely breakfast, it surpassed any expectations I may have had. The room was small with an open bathroom, and yet I never felt cramped or bothered by the layout. The room was simply but tastefully decorated, with a clean holiday vibe and a lot of natural light, the bed comfortable and the cleanliness up to par. The toilet in a sort of enclosed space was interesting :) but again for some reason was not bothersome. There is just a lot of thought behind the efficient layout. A very neat and original snack bar, with nice beers, organic snacks, delicious chocolate, and free sparkling/filter water. The breakfast was sufficiently varied and fresh, and the breakfast staff very efficient. The common areas' decor is so clean and cute, cozy and intimate, I really felt the true essence of a boutique hotel. Will definitely return when I travel back to Brussels.

    This historical center of the city has gorgeous flamboyant gothic artitecture around a large open square. Unfortunately, with the push of commerce, selling of ceap trinkets, etc, the city is ruiningg its biggist star plaza.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the room was quite big and value for money. The staffs at reception were very welcoming and cooperative. There are few good cafes around the corner. Had a wonderful night.

    The location was great, being right in the old part of Brussels and only about 300 metres from the Grand Place. Amenities included washing facilities and breakfast. The metro station was close by as were shops and restaurants. Our apartment was clean and well appointed with cooking facilities, a private bathroom and a fold away bed that converted into a couch.

    You couldn't want for a better location. The hotel is so close to the Grand Place and to the Central Station it made navigating the city an absolute breeze. The staff were all so friendly and helpful they are a real asset to the hotel. Lovely to stay in a building with such history too. If we ever go back to Brussels we will 100% stay here again!     We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel! The decoration is beautiful, and our room (for three people) was spacious and modern. They even prepared a bed and a water bowl for our dog, along with a guide including an emergency vet number — such a thoughtful touch. The location is also great, just a 15-minute walk from the Grand Place in Brussels. Highly recommended!

    Walking around the city center is easy, start with the Grand Place and from there the Manneken Pis is really close. The surrounding streets are lovely, make sure you discover all of them while you can try many chocolate places and beer bars. If you book a room in the city center you don't even have to spend on public transport too much.
