With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Located in Keswick and only 9.1 km from Derwentwater Lake, The Haven provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. Lovely and clean great location all essentials there. Hoping I can fit in another stay as was only there overnight

A 10-minute walk from Keswick town centre, Lynton Lodge Studio provides self-catering accommodation in the picturesque Lake District. These studios have free parking and WiFi. On arrival the studio was lovely and warm, there was a welcome pack of fresh flowers, chocolates and milk which is a nice touch. The studio is very well equipped also coffee, tea, hot chocolate and sugar were provided. It was clean and comfortable. The owners live next door and are on hand if needed but otherwise respect your privacy. We have stayed twice now, you get the best of both worlds self catering but just the right size apartment better than a hotel room or a cottage we think,, we will be back!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

Shepherds View, a property with a garden, is set in Keswick, 20 km from Buttermere, 32 km from Askham Hall, as well as 33 km from World of Beatrix Potter. The location was perfect. Just outside of Keswick not too far if you wanted to walk into the town to save hassle of trying to find parking during the busy day. Moreover, the location of Shepherds view offers amazing views over Keswick and two of the lakes. The owner was very kind and caring about our stay and made sure we were happy and let us know if we needed anything we’d know where to find them. Another thing that we found super helpful and a nice touch was the folder left on the kitchen table full of different activities you can do such as different tours of all the lakes etc…as well as letting us know of nearby walks places to eat and must see locations. Furthermore, the Lodge itself had modern appliances all round but still provided that warm cosy lodge feeling.

Set in Keswick in the Cumbria region, Maiden Moor offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The house was exceptionally clean, and fresh smelling. Fantastic kitchen utensils. The garden area was neat and pretty with outstanding views. Lovely and quiet with walks in every direction. Handy for Keswick and Derwent water. Bus service available from the cafe.

Situated 6.9 km from Derwentwater Lake, Oakside Cottage Braithwaite features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely little cottage well equipped friendly owners recommended some local walks. Could not fault this accommodation 10/10. 👌👌👍👍

Situated in Ambleside and only 10 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Retreat - Luxury Home, Ambleside features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location is great, in the middle of the town center however it was very quiet. Good location for vacation in the Lake District. The house was one of the best accommodation we’ve been to! Very clean, looks new and had with all the required kitchen equipment. Thanks for the welcome basket, it looks you’ve thought of everything. We loved it!!

Offering city views, Chapel Lodge is an accommodation set in Ambleside, 16 km from Lake Windermere and 28 km from Derwentwater Lake. Probably the best self-catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. If I could give Dwarf Studio 11/10, I would! Spacious, light-filled, clean, comfortable with all the conveniences a traveller needs. Comfortable bed, streaming services and sunny courtyard were additional bonuses. Also loved the welcome packs. Walking distance to Ambleside town centre and free parking metres away.

Lodge by the Lake - Lake District - Hot Tub is a recently renovated holiday home in Bassenthwaite, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Gorgeous view from the decking and hot tub. A real home from home. All the bits for the dog were a lovely treat. The site is so peaceful and quiet and simply stunning.
