We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

The colonial-style tents come with a private patio and outdoor seating. They also have military campaign-style furniture and rustic bathrooms equipped modern facilities. A picture perfect camp on a fantastic game reserve. The camp was exactly as sold which is exactly what we wanted - rustic but homely and comfortable. You get multiple chances for drinks (alcoholic and non) and 3 meals a day which are very tasty. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome by the whole team who clearly love their jobs and are very passionate about conservation and all things nature. Our guides Lungi and Yohan were both incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Riaan’s bush walk was a particular highlight - what this man doesn’t know, isn’t worth knowing! We have all done safari before in different parts of Africa but all agreed this was the best experience we’ve ever had and will definitely look at coming back in the future.

Guests at Woodall Country House can arrange game drives and bird-watching locally. Other leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, gym and spa. We enjoyed our stay here. The whole hotel crew is lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we had cold water in the shower but the manager personally took care of it and within 30 minutes the problem was solved. We were also offered another room as an alternative. The manager is very concerned about his guests. Very nice to see something like this and to feel valued as customer!
