I stayed 20 days at Canary Hotel & SPA in Nungwi and it was truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome every single day, always with a smile and genuine kindness. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the facilities – from the bowling alley to the pool and spa – made our stay unforgettable. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Nungwi Beach, yet peaceful and relaxing. After 20 days, I can say this hotel really felt like home. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness. A special shoutout to Eggla, Ramadan, Josef, Richard and Maureen—along with the rest of the amazing staff—who truly made our days unforgettable with their friendliness and care. Our room was perfect: spacious, clean and the bed—massive and incredibly comfortable. We slept like babies every night. The location is a dream. Right on the beach, in a peaceful and calm setting. The garden is breathtaking, full of colorful flowers and birds singing in the trees—it truly felt like a little paradise. The hotel restaurant was another highlight. Every dish we tried was delicious, but we especially loved the daily “catch of the day” featuring different fresh fish, and the grilled octopus was just mouthwatering. Zanzibella has stolen our hearts, and we already hope to return soon!

We loved the pool and the hammock beds that surrounded the pool. The food is absolutely delicious and the owners are willing to accommodate your dietary needs. But the best part is definitely the owners and staff—they treated us like VIP guests and took great care of us. They even hosted a family style Christmas Eve dinner with authentic polish cuisine and had a live band perform for dinner on Christmas Day. Honestly the previous reviews about this place are spot on—it’s a great place to unwind and relax plus the area the hotel is located in has the best snorkeling experience on the entire island. We will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you Mama Kasha, Kristof, and Emanuel for making our Christmas holiday special.

El cálido recibimiento de Aliya y la tranquilidad del hotel. Observar como cambia la palya y el mar en los distintos momentos del día. Como los locales buscan almejas, pulpos y caracoles con la bajada de la marea es algo que me pareció mágico. Realmente sentí que estaba en el paraíso!
