The cabins were incredibly cozy, overlooking beautiful snowcapped mountains. The jacuzzi was a great way to stay warm and take in the scenery along. We also enjoyed walking along the trails toward the river.

Both restaurants are wonderful and offer simply outstanding food, with incredible local produce. The tours we undertook (dog sledding, reindeer/Sami experience) were great fun and so informative. Cannot recommend this hotel enough for those wanting a luxurious break in the stunning arctic countryside. And we saw the Northern Lights! Special mention to Petros on the front desk who was as welcoming, helpful and informative as any front of house person I have ever encountered - even coming to alert us about the N Lights! A wonderful ambassador for this outstanding resort hotel.

Sin duda repetiría y creo que es la mejor opción para dormir en Alta.

Este hotel iglú está ubicado a 20 km del centro del municipio de Alta, junto al río Alta. We loved our stay in the ice hotel. This year's theme was the greek pantheon and the sculptures were gorgeous. We stayed in a suit, which is well worth the upgrade. We did many hikes in the area and enjoyed our time here immensely. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was exceptional, and both the main hotel and the ice hotel are stunning. The staff even let us know when northern lights were out! Thank you all for such a memorable stay.
