Mara was a very kind host and made us feel very welcome. We were concerned about arriving there safely because of a national strike, but Mara gave us directions and everything was fine. It's a beautiful place, the breakfast was fantastic. Bovril is the best.

This is a hideaway away from the busy Franschhoek but still nearby. The Villa is designed very tastefully. From design lights to great paintings. Owners with a lot of taste but also a good heart. Besides the luxury and the design they safe a lot of animals. The good thing… is that we as guests can give a little bit of love to this animals. Donkeys and dog kuddles. And … the cook is great! We had an amazing curry in the evening. You just need to try it.
