We have stayed 6 nights in this hotel, and we can affirm that it was the best decision to spend our honeymoon trip. The welcoming is so warm and the receptionist brings detailed information about the different places of the resort. The room is perfect and the bed is so comfortable that it is not difficult to fall asleep. About the environment, it is in an ideal situation, access to the beach from the resort, it offers water sports and when the tide is low you can enjoy the sandbank. At the restaurant, the waiters give you personalized attention, they give us a ''sweet surprise'' for our wedding, and are always interested in you and your satisfaction with the service. All the waiters were very polite and funny but we will never forget the attention of Sabato, Raphael, Naftali, Hossam, Haji and Ursula. They made every meal perfect. Lastly, we want to recognize Hossam's work, who made sure that everything was perfect for the clients and workers. To sum up, if you plan to spend your holidays in Zanzibar, make sure to book in Lux Marijani Zanzibar.

Location and Surroundings Nestled on the pristine sands of Kiwengwa Beach, the hotel’s stunning setting, lush gardens, and elegant architecture create a true paradise. Accommodation Our Junior Suite with a sea view was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The comfortable beds, complete with mosquito nets, ensured a restful stay. Impressively, we didn’t see a single mosquito the entire time. Dining Experience With five restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, every meal was a delight. The food was fresh, flavorful, and catered to all tastes. Exceptional Staff The service at the hotel was outstanding, with a team that went above and beyond to make our stay special. We want to highlight: Suphian from the Green and Grill Restaurant (dinner shift) – a world-class professional. His precision, warmth, and attention to detail would make him a top performer even in the finest dining establishments. The level of service he provides rivals that of the best restaurants globally—truly outstanding. Cons: - Clean rooms. The rooms were cleaned daily for our 10 days stay. - Beach front. You literally just walk out from the resort to the beach. And the beach is not congested. It’s very clean and suitable for romantic picnics, relaxing or water activities. - Food. Nice and tasty food. Though breakfast options were limited with the buffet breakfast. - Swimming pool: It’s one of the few places having swimming pool and a spa in the area. This kept our kids busy as we were traveling with kids. - Volleyball available just at the property with nets and balls. This was fun. - Stuff. Very kind and helpful - Driver. The driver, Mr Alex made our stay worthwhile. He suggested beautiful attractions and took us to different places for all our stay there. - The host was also friendly.

The Mambo Cabana Hotel offers a wonderful experience for a relaxing vacation. My room was spacious and beautiful, offering all the necessary comforts for rest. The food served was delicious with a variety of options that satisfied my taste buds. A Slice of Paradise at Zanzibella Hotel We had the most wonderful stay at Zanzibella Hotel and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness. A special shoutout to Eggla, Ramadan, Josef, Richard and Maureen—along with the rest of the amazing staff—who truly made our days unforgettable with their friendliness and care. Our room was perfect: spacious, clean and the bed—massive and incredibly comfortable. We slept like babies every night. The location is a dream. Right on the beach, in a peaceful and calm setting. The garden is breathtaking, full of colorful flowers and birds singing in the trees—it truly felt like a little paradise. The hotel restaurant was another highlight. Every dish we tried was delicious, but we especially loved the daily “catch of the day” featuring different fresh fish, and the grilled octopus was just mouthwatering. Zanzibella has stolen our hearts, and we already hope to return soon!

The staff were amazing! Edwin and his team were super nice! Mwalimu & Edina are always smiling, I really felt at home. I would suggest the onion rings with cheese samosas. They have really good vegetarian options. The pool and beach are literally 3 steps from the room.

This hotel is absolutely exceptional, very comfortable and relaxing. We would stay here again and again. The owners Kasia and Krzysztof are incredibly friendly and could not do more to make us feel welcome and relaxed. This place is really beautiful, the room was beautiful, big and comfortable. The service was excellent, the place remained very clean and the beach was beautiful. The food was very delicious, Kasia is an excellent cook, we were able to eat amazing food at every meal. The staff is excellent, really nice people always smiling and ready to help you with anything. Do not hesitate to stay here if you want to truly relax and only be surrounded by a handful of other guests. Loved!
