Perfect position on lake front in centre of town, next to ferry & with free private car park. Breakfast room was nice. Our corner room on top floor facing lake & with balcony was very nice, bright & light & bathroom had great view of Centro Storico. Staff all nice & we are able to check in early because our room was ready. We only stayed one night but wish we’d booked for two as it’s a good base for exploring & plenty of restaurants to try in the town without needing to drive anywhere.

It was a beautiful place, with its flaws, which in the end could not prevent a great time and enjoying the magnificent nature. The location and the views from the windows and terraces are just great. The staff also deserves special praise as everyone was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Every question we had did not go unanswered. The check in process was extremely easy and quick. The room is beautifully furnished and very authentic. The surrounding area is more than conducive to leisurely strolls as well as some activities that are at your disposal right on the hotel grounds. Definitely a place to stay for at least three nights. The breakfast is excellent. The restaurant menu is well worth a look. Although the service in the restaurant is a bit complicated in my opinion, that does not change the fact that everything is done to a high standard. Definitely I would recommend this hotel!

Host Paolo’s excellent customer service. he was very kind and generous to us. He introduced excellent bistro and restaurant. He kindly helped to carry our luggages to the parking lot. Carola is the best host! She is incredibly kind and thoughtful — I was truly impressed. I visited with my child without a car, and she came to pick us up at the train station and even drove us to the city of Cortona. She always welcomed us with a warm smile, and her house is beautiful and spotless. It has everything you need and is so peaceful. She even gave us snacks and wine as a gift — we enjoyed them very much. I would love to come back and stay longer next time to explore more of the Tuscany region. Carola’s home is the perfect place to experience the real Italy and to feel how genuinely warm and caring Italian people are. Thank you so much, Carola!

    A beautiful house at a fantastic location. Fabio and his parents are super hosts. The cake was a very nice gesture. The appartment is great, spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped and everything both inside and outside is kept in pristine condition. The garden and swimming pool are also very nice. We had a fantastic time here!

    Great location in the village of Castel Rigone (bar, restaurants and convenience store are nearby). The town offers beautiful views on the lake of Trasimeno and surrounding landscape. Very welcoming and friendly owners. Dog friendly place. Very spacious apartment that is well equipped. Private parking on site.
