Staff were very friendly and helpful, we feel like stay at home. Especially Xiao He, he has been very helpful to assist with our request in arrange for our private van, he is very informative to make sure we can enjoy the most with the stay. His dedication to providing exceptional service truly made our stay memorable. He was incredibly helpful, considerate, and responsible, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From recommending great local restaurants to arranging attractions and promptly handling our luggage, Mr. He made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is just a short walk from the picturesque old town, making it easy to explore the local culture and history. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, we highly recommend Lijiang Gemmer Hotel for anyone visiting the area!

It was right in the middle of old town, but far away from the bars and restaurants so quite quiet, right next to a stream so felt like staying in nature to some extent. Had our own private courtyard though didn’t use much as spent most of the time outside wandering. Owner was super nice and gave us tips about restaurants to try (and to avoid as tourist traps).

Such a beautiful hotel. The scenery is amazing from every angle. The restaurants and bakery on site were excellent - we were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and they were able to arrange a cake with candles at very short notice and even delivered a complimentary cake to our room later in the evening! Breakfast buffet had a great spread of western and Asian foods. The kids enjoyed the petting zoo and animal feeding and complimentary hotel activities such as tie dyeing. Overall, an amazing stay.
