The Travel Inn Durban is owner managed and serviced, by internationally traveled staff, delivering the best guest experience possible. Many years of touring has culminated in a focused basket of traveler needs, albeit for business or leisure, catered or self catering. Safety, cleanliness and comfort is top of list. Hotel quality beds and fresh white crisp linen, sun block curtains, hot showers with strong water flow. Ample cupboard space and plug points, and a well lit desk to work at. Friendly experienced helpful staff. These are some of the ingredients which has kept us on the map. You can expect this well maintained value for money facility to provide you with a home from home experience from the moment you enter. Five private units, each en-suite and double bed, air conditioner, fan and ample cupboard space, desk, TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery & crockery are located pool side next to the jacuzzi whilst the three bedroom family suite is on the first floor and additional private units plus two bedroom family units which boast full kitchens, lounges and diners. On site gated parking excellent CCTV coverage of the entire property coupled with back power security lighting throughout.

Private, upmarket, self catering or catered, hotel style pristine property with friendly, experienced and well travelled service orientated staff which can accommodate groups of up to twenty six. Outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, braai / barbeque and twelve seater dining table with smart TV. You can expect a cosy and comfortable stay on white percale linen with stacks of amenities such a shower gowns, slippers, foot spa, hand held massager, fruit basket, sugar, tea, coffee, milk, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle & cooker. Aircon, fan, bedside lights and bedside plug points, swimming pool towels. Board games, OVHD TV in every room. Uncapped fibre WiFi throughout. Optional airport and bus transfers available as well as drop offs and pick ups in and around Durban's main attractions. Day trips available when booked in advance. An uninterrupted power supply system keeps all security lighting, automated gates, fibre WiFi as well as the extensive CCTV system, which monitors the entire site, running throughout Eskom's load shedding. All units are fitted with backup lighting. Security is further enhanced by the use of RF Cards for opening and closing gates as well as entering units which boast electronic safes. On-site parking for 15 vehicles, trailers welcome. Five braai areas, private and common kitchens. Optional transport at a nominal fee via our VIP shuttle bus to and from airport, bus stations and beaches as well as major attractions and shopping malls (pavilion & Gateway). Meals too, breakfast, lunch & dinner (as well as padkos) can be ordered the day before. Laundry service available to wash, dry and iron your personal clothing at a fee of R180 per basket. Long stay rates available on application.

Greyville Horse Race Course, Botanical Gardens as well as many golf courses are in close proximity, as are the local beaches from south to north and many eateries from Davenport through to Florida Road and beyond. The calm neighborhood of residential Umbilo with its old style wide roads and tree lined side walks are a reminder of years gone by. The popular upmarket Pavilion Shopping Mall is close by within ten minutes drive and boasts all the popular national chain stores, movie houses, restaurants and more.
