Surrounded by majestic mountains, lakes and the ocean, in the quaint village of Betty's Bay, Silverdunes offers an amazing holiday retreat. Silverdunes is stylish, cosy and comfortable offering a guest unit with its own private entrance. Enjoy stunning mountain views. The neighbourhood is safe, peaceful and walking distance from the beach. This is the ideal place to unwind, enjoy great hospitality and experience the tranquility of nature all around you! The mountain view guest unit is on the ground floor and consists of 2 bedrooms with a dining- & living area, kitchenette and full bathroom. This unit captures beautiful mountain views and has its own private garden with braai facilities. There is an indoor fireplace also with braai facilities. This unit is ideal for a small family (maximum two children & an infant) or max 4 adults. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 consist of two single beds. Both bedrooms have access to the bathroom with bath & shower.
We love hosting guests and it is our passion to share the natural beauty and tranquility of this part of the Western Cape with all our guests! Rendering quality services and facilities to guests are one of our main priorities.
Silverdunes is located in a safe and peaceful neighborhood and is only 150 meters from the outstretched, white sandy beach of Silversands where rock pools, long walks and fishing opportunities await you. At dusk the red/orange sunset views over the ocean towards Cape Town are breath taking. Stare at night into the brightly lit heavens where stars shine like floating chandeliers in the dark. Close-by enjoy good coffee or a meal at a variety of coffee shops and restaurants. Visit the quaint villages of Pringle Bay and Rooi Els a few kilometers away from Silverdunes which boast beautiful beaches, magnificent scenery, art shops and cozy coffee shops/restaurants. Down the road from Silverdunes is the penguin breeding colony as well as three freshwater lakes and walking routes. The renowned Harold Porter botanical gardens with hiking trails, picnic spots, walks and grass parks all surrounded by waterfalls, fynbos is only 5 min drive from Silverdunes. In December spot the rare red Disa flower blooming high up on the cliffs where the Disa waterfall gushes down. All of this, inside the Kogelberg nature reserve, which is recognized as part of the UNESCO Biosphere Nature Reserve.
