Nestled against the slopes of the Franschhoek Mountains overlooking the majestic Wemmershoek Mountain range, the 50 hectare wine estate has 15 hectares of vines, accommodation at Basse Provence Guest House and the Rickety Bridge Manor House, and a beautiful tasting room where guests can sample the superb Rickety Bridge Winery wines.Our restaurant, Paulina's, occupies a stunning location amongst the vineyards - perfect for pensively sipping on our wine while enjoying a meal off the bistro-style menu. We also specialise in weddings - there are superb spots scattered around the wine estate perfect for a wedding ceremony or reception.Rickety Bridge Wine Estate is a popular destination in the Cape Winelands with a long wine-making history. Although reminiscent of the past, and nostalgic and timeless, this estate is also ‘all things new, ‘all things delectable and ‘all things sublime. Lie still in the stylishly-renovated 19th century rooms of our beautiful Franschhoek guest house. With every luxury of a four-star hotel, the three en-suite rooms also offer the comforting pleasures of home.
Enjoy Wine tastings at the Rickety Bridge Wine Tasting Centre or organize a private or group Cellar Tours which can only be made by appointment. Book a divine lunch at Paulina's Restaurant on site and enjoy beautifully prepared meals from our amazing kitchen staff. If you're up for fun in the Sun the why not play some Boules in the vines or take a scenic walk through the vines at sunset with your loved ones.
