The Cottage on 55 is located in beautiful Franschhoek and only 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and the shops. It is an easy and safe walk to town, even in the night. The Cottage is situated in the back of our garden. There is a separate entrance next to the main house. Parking space behind a gate. We only have two rooms, separate from each other.
In summer time we serve breakfast outside in our garden and if it rains, you are welcome in our cozy home for breakfast.
During loadshedding lights and wifi are working. We have solar panels, the most important things are working. We have a good quality of tab water, all from our own borehole. Safe to drink. Both rooms have airconditioning and heating .
We have lived in beautiful Franschhoek for 15 years and we love to share our lovely place with people from all around the world. Come and relax in our beautiful garden, have a glass of the local wine after a busy day. We love gardening and our gardener DaMama helps us a lot. We have three cats, they love people and they are not alllowed to go in the rooms.
The Cottage on 55 is settled in a quiet, safe and peaceful environment. The main street with all the restaurants are just around the corner at walking distance. Safe parking in the street, but welcome to park your car inside the gate.
