This BRAND NEW apartment's location is unbeatable in Pretoria as it is very safely situated on the top floor of a secure building in the Menlyn Maine (hot spot) precinct of Pretoria. It features an adjacent 12 m rooftop swimming pool and pool deck. SLEEPING This versatile apartment is suitable to single person wanting to relax while watching the hustle and bustle far below and also suitable to a couples or a small family wanting to enjoy the amenities which are all walking distance away. Guests can choose to sleep on one king size bed or two single beds in the bedroom. The sofa couch in the living area transforms into a full size double bed to easily accommodate two children (2-12). FACILITIES The unit is very spacious compared to others in the area. The apartment is also equipped with WiFi, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and utensils for self catering but the numerous restaurants, steakhouses and coffee shops in the area provide the best cuisine South Africa has to offer. Delicious take-away meals are also available at the Super Spar, Woolworths, Pizza-shop etc.
LOCATION AND NEIGHBOURHOOD The Menlyn Maine precinct is Pretoria's most glamorous location with its newly built infrastructure and modern buildings hosting the Time Square Casino, Time Square Arena, Central Time Square, Virgin Active Gym, Bounce, several corporate office buildings and upmarket shopping mall - all within 300 meters of the reception area. The Menlyn Shopping Centre (one of the largest in Africa) with movie theaters, games arena etc. is also only 2 minutes drive away. SAFETY The area is considered safe with several security personnel all over. Personal precautions similar to those in all other major cities are applicable: Do not give lifts or entertain strangers, keep valuables out of sight, etc. People traveling with young children may want to keep in mind that this penthouse apartment is situated on the 16th floor has a railed balcony. IMPORTANT: For security reasons access into the building is strictly controlled. NO VISITORS are allowed for short-term stays and guests may not exceed the number of persons that the booking was made for.
SURPRISES The poolside restaurant's opening was unfortunately delayed by COVID but several fantastic restaurants within walking distance offer breakfast, lunch, cocktails and dinner is. Also - the state of the art "Cintocare Hospital" ("the first green certified hospital in Africa") is within walking distance from the apartment. HOSTS The hosts are born and bred "Pretorians" with extensive travel experience and high standards. They can advise on everything needed in order to have a memorable and commendable stay. The hosts do not live at the property so guests have 100% privacy but also the knowledge that support is only a phone call away. The hosts will do everything in their power to meet your needs and will welcome any suggestions that would ensure that you never have to look for other accommodation when visiting Pretoria.
