We, Laurence & Alida Marks have been involved in the tourism & hospitality industry since 1996. We own and personally managed Journey's Inn Africa. We believe our success at the lodge even through difficult times can be credited to good management, our hardworking & competent staff, as well as offering our guests year after year excellent services and good, clean & comfortable 3 star facilities. Our main priority from the beginning was to offer our guests the best value for money overnight accommodation available in our area.

Property information

Journey's Inn Africa is a charming little rustic farmhouse style lodge surrounded by beautiful gardens. We have 9 comfortable en-suite rooms including 3 family rooms. All the rooms have private entrances that lead into our pristine grounds. The lodge is situated in a safe gated community in the quaint upmarket suburb of Glen Marais - Kempton Park, which is conveniently located and in close proximity to Johannesburg’s O R Tambo International Airport, Emperors Palace Casino, Harvest Place Mall, East Rand Mall, Arwyp Private Hospital and Serengeti Signature Golf Course, as well as numerous excellent restaurants that are within a safe walking distance.
