Company information

Dekotzenhof is an owner run establishment. Mark has been in Hospitality and Marketing most of his life, and is a trained Chef. Karen was a Business Analyst, who turned Interior Decorator some years later; and together their dream of owning their own lodge came to be, in Wakkerstroom. They are hands on, and give that personal touch. They enjoy sourcing interesting products for the farm stall/deli; but also love experimenting in the kitchen and sell a lot of home grown products. The country-style breakfast includes home-made jams and treats. A packed breakfast, picnic basket or vegetarian options can be pre-requested. They will prepare a delicious dinner to end your memorable days. Ready-to heat meals, treats and preserves are sold from their on-site farm-stall deli. You can even order breads or cakes to take home with you, or for your further travels. Dinners can be booked at DeKotzenhof for our guests at an extra cost. We serve a 3 course dinner from 7pm-8.30pm all need to be pre booked.
