4 Dolphin Views is a beautifully appointed two bedroom two bathroom apartment situated right on the beachfront of the quaint seaside village of La Mercy, a mere 15 minute drive from King Shaka International Airport. As such La Mercy is the ideal stopover for people entering or exiting KwaZulu-Natal exploring the rich diversity of beaches, game reserves, mountains and culture or merely visiting on business. Boasting panoramic sea views and a private swimming pool, this apartment is a superb choice for those who prefer a tranquil seaside break. The apartment comprises 2 bedroom (both en suite), an open-plan living area with a superbly equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area. The living area is air conditioned for guest comfort and glass concertina doors fold away to reveal a deck with a sparkling private swimming pool facing directly onto the sea. There is an outdoor barbeque, a 10 seater table and 2 Sun loungers next to the pool. This apartment offers both comfort and style with modern furnishings that give way to a light, homely and artsy feel.

Neighbourhood information

La Mercy is a charming seaside village steeped in the colourful Indian culture and history. Hemmed between lush sugar cane fields and the endless Indian Ocean, the Village is situated on the Dolphin Coast between Umhlanga and Ballito, approximately 25 kilometres north of Durban, home to the busiest harbour in Africa. With the building of the new King Shaka International Airport just over the hill, La Mercy is an ideal stopover for visitors and business travellers arriving or departing KwaZulu-Natal. This beautiful section of sandy beach has a shallow inter-tidal zone where the low tides form a myriad of rocky inshore pools. The coastal waters are rich in marine life providing endless shore fishing opportunities and great offshore ski boat and paddle ski fishing. The annual migration of the Humpbacked whales are sighted close inshore from around mid-June right through to the end of November. The annual sardine run in June and July, “The Greatest Shoal on Earth”, is another greatly anticipated migration phenomena here in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Although not predictable and not always reaching La Mercy, this “the largest bio-mass migration on the planet” is a must see.
