The John Rast house has been in the same family for over 145 years. Intensive restoration has brought this Historical gem back to life to with others. The John Rast home displays artifacts found on the property and is listed on the National Historical Registry. Centrally located, East HWY. 138 to Diamond Lake, Crater Lake, Bend Or., West HWY. 42 to Coos Bay Oregon coast, and I-5 Corridor North to Portland, or I-5 Corridor South to California. Close to eateries, wineries, Umpqua river, & wildlife safari. We are 1 hr. South of Eugene Or. Bring your slippers for we do not allow shoes in the home. Happy and safe traveling. Cherri & Mike

Great safe location. (police & fire down the road) Easy walking to downtown eateries, wine/brew tasting and shopping. 15 min. from wildlife safari and wineries. Home is on the old HWY. 99 (now Stephens St.) Centrally located to HWY. 138 East to Crater Lake, Bend Or. / HWY. 42 West to Coos Bay Oregon coast, / I-5 Corridor North to Portland, and I-5 Corridor South to California. There is a walking river path behind house for your enjoyment. Maps and brochures are available for your convenience in the home. Note: Tour Guide available upon request for additional cost.
