The cabin is a dry cabin, which was fine; inside the cabin, you have everything you need. The kitchen is super equipped. It even has some condiments and a basic pantry. The bathroom on the outside can be improved a little, I know you are in...

Es una cabina seca, que vol dir que no te aigua. Tot i que ens van deixar un diposit gran d’aigua per passar dos dies. El wv es com una letrina. Si no tens moltes manies es pot anar perfectament. Per la resta tot perfecte.

My sister and I drove to Alaska with our 4 children in 9 days from Vermont. We asked about coming a day earlier than anticipated and they gladly accommodated and let us all stay in one cabin as only one was open. Our husband’s flights were delayed...

Company information

We are a small, family owned and operated business that has been dog mushing for over 12 years. We have been sharing the mushing experience with others for four years. Our family recently expanded with another team of Alaskan huskies and three rental cabins on the property. We love our dogs and our dogs love to run so we have combined our assets to provide a genuine Alaskan adventure for our customers.

Property information

Our cozy cabins are located in a semi secluded area that's far enough away from town to enjoy the serenity of nature but close enough to still enjoy the benefits of town. You can stay in true Alaskan style in our "dry" cabins. Water is provided in a dispenser but there is no indoor plumbing. Each cabin has it's own private outhouse for restroom facilities. We have dark night skies during winter months (Sept.-April) that are perfect for watching for the Aurora Borealis and we also have an eager team of Alaskan huskies and mushers that can provide a dog sled ride for guests that are looking for a genuine Alaskan experience.

Neighbourhood information

We are conveniently located about 20 miles from Fairbanks and North Pole so customers can still see all the sites and enjoy the benefits of town before they settle in for a night in one of our cozy cabins. We are far enough from town that there is no light pollution to interfere with a night of Aurora watching. We have a gas station/convenience store within 10 miles in either direction. Laundry and shower facilities are also a ten mile drive. It is a short 3 mile drive to a local Bakery/Coffee shop for some coffee and snacks. Two Rivers Lodge is also about 3 miles away for customers that are looking for a nice dinner restaurant/bar. You can take a beautiful, scenic drive to Chena Hot Springs and enjoy a nice relaxing soak after a dogsled ride. Then drive back to a nice warm cabin to watch for Auroras. The property is near the Chena recreational area providing opportunities to explore the wilderness on numerous hiking trails during summer vists or cross country skiing in winter.
