Company information

The Cooperstown B and B has been in business since 1999. My wife and I purchased the inn in July of 2017. We are dedicated artists and writers who see the big yellow house as great place to express ourselves and show off our sizable art collection which we have built over the years from trades and purchases from our fellow artists. We endeavor to make the Cooperstown B and B a quaint, quirky, & homey inn that preserves its funky Victorian Steam Punk charm while providing our guests a thoroughly relaxing environment.

Property information

The Cooperstown Bed and Breakfast is a charming Queen Anne Inn, which is perfectly located in a quaint neighborhood of old grand old Colonials, Federals, and Gingerbread cottages. We are a ten minute walk from Main Street, the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, Doubleday Field, Otsego Lake, and many other attractions. The Inn is also an easy drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park, Glimmerglass Opera, and beautiful Glimmerglass State Park. Our two cooks will prepare a made-to-order country breakfast served in the dining room. As an additional convenience, the Cooperstown Village Trolley picks you up in front of the house en route to attractions like the Hall of Fame, The Farmers' Museum and Fenimore Art Museum. Our Cooperstown lodging features four rooms with queen sized, four-poster beds and one room with a king-sized brass bed. All rooms have excellent wifi and private bathrooms, and two of the queen rooms (Rooms Two and Four) have second bedrooms, ideal for families. There is ample free parking on site.

Neighbourhood information

Cooperstown is small-town America at its most beautiful featuring proud, old Victorian, Federal and Colonial homes, great local shops, restaurants for every taste, and a lively Main Street spirit that epitomizes the classic American downtown. No matter what time of year, Cooperstown, NY, beams with community pride, as evidenced by one of the cleanest and visually attractive Main Streets in the northeast United States. Fine tree-lined neighborhoods with beautiful old homes, the pristine shores of Otsego Lake and landmark attractions like the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, the Fenimore Art Museum, Brewery Ommegang, and the Farmers' Museum, Glimmerglass Opera, Hyde Hall (a stunning mansion), The Ommegang Concert Series, and the Cooperstown Art Association are just the tip of the iceberg on the cultural opportunities in a Village with a population of just over 2,000.
