Beanie’s Bungalow has the beach and plenty of it! Located just two lots back from the ocean, Beanie’s Bungalow is a quick walk to one of the Outer Banks’ top beaches on Hatteras Island. The boardwalk to the most pristine, uncrowded stretch of beach on Avon’s north end is just steps away. World class fishing, surfing, kite boarding, sunbathing, beach-combing, and swimming are located right past the beach walkway. Beanie’s Bungalow guests receive complimentary seasonal access to Club Hatteras — the island’s top spot for family fun, featuring the largest heated pool, cabanas, showers, a kiddie pool, playground, and picnic area. The under-house at Beanie’s Bungalow provides shade and has full decking with seating, fish cleaning station, fabulous hot/cold shower, and convenient clotheslines. Fire up the charcoal park grill and enjoy laid-back cookouts after a day at the beach. The large furnished sundeck above the garage catches every ray of sunshine and allows for listening to the waves and surf in the nearby ocean by day and star gazing by night. Bring the bikes because Avon is two-wheeler friendly. Did we mention there are two ice cream shops and restaurants within walking distance? Beanie’s Bungalow is situated in a quiet location in Avon on Hatteras Island with nearby local shops, a grocery store, and charter services. Beanie’s Bungalow is easy on the vacationer with only one set of stairs and all rooms located on a single level. The living room in this unique octagon-shaped home has a cathedral ceiling, seaside chestnut flooring, colorful comfortable furniture, a huge library of books, LED TV/DVD (streaming live TV), games, movies and free FAST internet/WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the necessary appliances, a breakfast counter overlooking a large picture window, and a full-size stacked washer/dryer. The dining area is an addition that opens up the space and produces an abundance of light.
