Escape the noise of Gatlinburg and find yourself relaxing on the deck at Barenberg Cabin, an updated secluded 2BR/2.5BA dual-suite retreat. 10 miles from Gatlinburg and 20 miles to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, enjoy it all without all the traffic. During the day savor the uninterrupted views of The Great Smoky Mountains. Dine al fresco while watching the sun sink behind the mountains and then retreat to the hot tub and soak while staring at the brilliant stars shining above. Catch a view of the local bears. Barenberg's amenities include a private hot tub, game area, and awe-inspiring Smoky Mountain views. Extra perks include a sleek kitchen, Great Room and smart TVs in the suites. Wifi speed up to 600 mbps allows you to work remotely through video conference calls. The game area offers shuffleboard, a 500+ multi-game arcade, several of your favorite board games and puzzles. Sleeping There are two dual master suites (1 king, 1 queen), each with its own full bathroom. For additional sleeping beds, there is a pull-out queen size sofa in the living room and 2 pull-out twin size beds in the loft area that you can combine them together becoming a queen size bed.
We are a family of four who fell in love with the Smoky Mountains. After an exhaustive search for the right house we came across the cabin which would become Barenberg ("Bear Mountain" in German). The first time sitting on the deck, we knew the views form this properly would never disappoint. Looking directly over the park, the views change from season to season and are just our favorite place to be.
This cabin is located in Cobbly Nob community where the guests can enjoy the 2 community pools (seasonal between Memorial weekend and Labor Day weekend), tennis court and basketball court. 24/7 security guard and the Bent Creek Golf Course is at the base of the mountain. Located only 15 min from the best local fishing spot - Cosby Creek and Dudley Creek, 20-25min from multiple distilleries on TN whiskey trail, and 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 18 miles to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, enjoy it all without all the traffic.
