Each of our suites has its own bedroom, private bathroom and entrance, and fully equipped kitchen. They also have their own living room and dining areas. A Suite Alaskan Inn offers a wide variety of suite amenities to enhance your stay including a back yard garden, common area. It's excellent location near the center of the Fairbanks allows guests to easily move around the community and enjoy all of the city attractions.

A Suite Alaskan Inn is hosted by Myrna who with her husband Jerry were raised locally and together have a combined total of 100+ years living in Fairbanks. They are part of multi-generational families that go back to the turn of the century gold rush days. They have a wealth of personal experiences and stories about early days in Alaska, family adventures, or their grandchildren. They may be entreated to share some with you, as time permits. Ask about the Strangest Story Ever Told. Myrna and Jerry love Fairbanks, enjoy guests from around the world, and want to make your stay at A Suite Alaskan Inn a most enjoyable time. Myrna likes to sew and is involved with the Fairbanks Art Association. Jerry likes salmon fishing and gardening. They both like traveling including overseas.

A Suite Alaskan Inn is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and within easy walking distance of many downtown points of interest. Conveniently within a seven (7) short block radius is the local area bus Transit Center, McCafferty's -A Coffee House, Coop Market Grocery and Deli, The Donut Shoppe & Expresso Cafe, Big Daddy's BarB-Q, and Gallentino's Italian Style Restaurant. For novelty, you may want to see the Alaska House Art Gallery or shop at Prospector Outfitters. Also within the same vicinity, is the Noel Wien Public Library or if you want to pick up an inexpensive book to read, check out Forget-Me-Not Books and support the local Literacy Council. With the grandkids, we like to walk to the playgrounds of Myrtle Thomas Park or Barnette School (and if we want more excitement, we drive to Pioneer Park, which is a great place to explore).
