Nestled amidst Uganda's stunning landscape, with views of Lake Nyinambuga and the Rwenzori mountains, Baranko offers an unforgettable experience. Birdwatchers will find solace in Nyinambuga's neighbourhood, and Chimpanzee tracking awaits at Kibale National Park, just 45 minutes away.
An adventure enthusiast with a childhood filled with longing for exploration and deep connection to the unknown, I have dedicated myself to creating a haven for fellow travelers. I have had my share of opportunities to explore wild places and embark on adrenaline-filled adventures: from high-altitude mountaineering to long-distance bike-packing and overlanding, and from bungee jumping to white water rafting, and everything in-between. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities at Baranko, our dedicated caretaker will be there to warmly welcome you and address any inquiries you may have, they will also be available on-site throughout your stay, offering valuable assistance.
Guests at Baranko can enjoy canoeing, and swimming in the lake or go on a nature walk in the lush forest. Cycling or hiking excursions in the community can be arranged with a local guide where you can explore Mahoma falls, explore the numerous other crater lakes in the area or the local cultural experience of growing and processing coffee and vanilla.
